Ladys and gentelmen, we are going to talk about some of the wine that is produced in the Basque Country: the Cider and the Txakoli. We will leave the Rioja wine for the next episode (indeed, some of the so called “Rioja” wine is produced in “Rioja Alavesa”, a Basque province, and we need more tasting before writing about it).  It is always a good time to talk about wine but for some reasons that we will explain below, January is even a better time to jump into these liquid wonders.
